»Wilfried Hiller zu Ehren«
In March 2016, on the occasion of his 75th birthday, the Orff-Zentrum Munich honored one of the most frequently played stage composers of our time: Wilfried Hiller. After a panel discussion with the artist Hiller himself, the artist and Hiller’s confidante, Antje Tesche-Mentzen, and Dr. Thomas Rösch (head of the OZM), a part of Carl Orff’s »Der Mond – ein kleines Welttheater« (1939) was performed. This was followed by the evenings highlight: the premiere of Wilfried Hiller’s Gesamtzyklus »Kosmos – 34 Miniaturen für Klavier« (2015).
