ARIADNE 2050 is the pilot of a campaign for our client FASTBREAK. The first part of the action-packed Sci-Fi-Saga was produced by Robert Zahn and directed by Jérôme Gemander in 2011. It’s the year 2050: In a world beyond daylight most people do no longer live on the Earth's surface - but beneath it: In artificially ventilated catacombs a bloodthirsty crowd is entertained by a ruthless gladiator fighting spectacle, where free runners - both voluntary and forced ones - compete against each other on a playfield full of obstacles. Lynx, the protagonist of the saga (played by free running-star Daniel Ilabaca), decides to take part in the final showdown. His goal: to fight his way up to the upper world. He is joined by his lover Rianna, (played by Nana Burri), a patrician’s daughter. And it seems that the rucksack Lynx is wearing during the game could play a decisive role in the story's outcome: It’s the Fastbreak-backpack from the year 2011 - and it is still filled with secrets.
Jérôme Gemander wrote the screenplay for this exceptional pilot, which can be watched full-length only online.
